1. Science - Study for Chapter 5 Test - tomorrow
- must know vocabulary words and be able to use them in short answer responses
- structure of cell membrane
- diffusion vs osmosis
- concentration gradient (high to low concentration) and what happens to the size of the cell
ex. higher concentration of water outside cell than inside - cell expands
- exocytosis vs endocytosis
-turgor pressure
-Format of the test : True and False, Fill in the Blank, Multiple Choice, and Short Answer
2. Math - Unit 10 Probability: Skills You'll Need p. 454-455 #1-2 (Review Experimental and Theoretical Probability)
3. Valedictorian Speeches due Monday, June 10th - if you are interested
- must be typed
- submitted in a sealed envelope (NO NAME)
- approx. 3-5 minutes in length
- must include something about our catholic faith (ie. sacraments)
- be prepared to present your speech to a committee of a few staff members, if your speech is one of the speeches selected (week of June 10th)
- a candidate will be chosen by the end of the week (June 14th)
