- Test (Part 2) Circumference and Area of a Circle (knowledge of rates/ratios will also be needed for the open response questions) will be next Thursday
2. Writing - Rough draft of your Narrative story (make sure you complete your graphic organizer before you begin writing your first draft) due Tuesday
- you will be revising and editing your narratives during class time on Tuesday
3. Confirmation Retreat on Monday at Good Shepherd Parish (remember lunch is included)
- a few students still need to return signed permission forms (this is a must to attend)
4. Muskoka Woods Fundraiser Opportunity - a letter went home today. If you are interested in selling pepperoni sticks, you can make a 50% profit to put towards your trip. Fill out the form and return a.s.a.p while quantities last!

***Extra Practice Review questions from Lessons 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3 can be found on pg.69 #1-4, 7-11.
Hints for test:
- Find missing terms (cross multiply, then solve for unknown)
- Label ratio terms in words (ex. drawing to actual)
- Check to see if you have to do any unit conversions
- Find unit rate and/or unit cost (price per 1 unit of something, km per 1 hour)
- What is the better buy? (find unit cost or make one of the terms the same and compare the other term, make equivalent ratios/fractions)
2. Health - project due Thursday (start rehearsing your part of the presentation)
3. GR. 8 GRADUATION PICTURES are tomorrow (please return the class composite order form with $30 payment tomorrow as well, if interested)
4. Gr. 9 Registration Package due February 8th.
