Writing a Monologue - Child Labour
Choose a photograph from this selection - What is Child Labour? (page 28-29) or from doing a Google image search. Brainstorm ideas for a key message that the child in the photo might give in a 30 second monologue. The monologue would be used as a voice-over to the photo as part of a TV public service announcement. Brainstorm supporting details you can use to support the main message. Draft your monologue.
Refer to the questions on page 24 to provide feedback about the main idea, topic, and supporting details.
