1.  Creative Writing - Both your Halloween assignments are due Monday. (Witch's Brew Recipe and your Limerick).  Please have them typed and printed out, only after you have properly edited your work. Your limerick is especially important to have because you will need it to complete your tombstone assignment for Art.

2.  Geography - Class time will continue to be given early next week for you and your partner to work on your "Megacities" Project.  If you feel you need more time, use this weekend to continue researching about your topic.

Writing a Monologue - Child Labour

Choose a photograph from this selection - What is Child Labour? (page 28-29) or from doing a Google image search. Brainstorm ideas for a key message that the child in the photo might give in a 30 second monologue. The monologue would be used as a voice-over to the photo as part of a TV public service announcement. Brainstorm supporting details you can use to support the main message. Draft your monologue.

Refer to the questions on page 24 to provide feedback about the main idea, topic, and supporting details.
