Choose a photograph from this selection - What is Child Labour? (page 28-29) or from doing a Google image search. Brainstorm ideas for a key message that the child in the photo might give in a 30 second monologue. The monologue would be used as a voice-over to the photo as part of a TV public service announcement. Brainstorm supporting details you can use to support the main message. Draft your monologue.

Learning Goals Unit 2 - Integers and Transformations


We have just completed our Patterning Unit in math and so we are now ready to start Unit 2 - Integers and Transformations.  Below are the learning goals that we will be working on over the next few weeks!




Agenda - Monday, September 24, 2018

1.  Literacy    a)  Please remember to have a book at school for silent reading.
                      b)  Read "Two Islands" - pg. 12-20

2.  Math - a)  Get Unit 1 - Patterning Test signed
                 b)  Complete Unit 2 - Integers and Transformations Diagnostic

3.  Return Student Registration Verification Forms (white form) - indicate using a red pen if making any corrections and then sign/date at the bottom.  The office needs these forms handed in a.s.a.p! Thank you to those who have already handed them in!
